When the weather is good (October through April), City Walk is genuinely one of the most pleasant places to eat outdoors in the entire Gulf.
The restaurant mix has improved significantly in recent years. Meraas — the developer — has been deliberate about bringing genuine operators rather than just well-known brands. The C2 Licensed District is the crown jewel: eleven restaurants in three landscaped courtyards, all licensed, with the kind of al fresco European courtyard atmosphere that is unusual and charming in Dubai. The C2 district within City Walk is one of Dubai's most pleasant licensed dining zones — 11 restaurants across three beautifully landscaped courtyards, all serving wine and cocktails with their food. The Best Restaurants in City Walk Right Now
Butcha is the most distinctive steakhouse in Dubai. It operates as a hybrid butcher shop and restaurant — you approach the counter, select your cut from the day's Turkish and international selection, and your meat is cooked to order on the grill. The quality of the sourcing is exceptional: the Mangalitza (Hungarian fat-tailed pig) chops (AED 165) are a revelation for pork lovers. The Karagöz beef ribeye — a premium Turkish breed — (AED 285 for 400g) is among the best steaks in the city, with extraordinary marbling and depth of flavour. The mezze plates are generous and well-executed: the acili ezme (AED 38) with its precise chilli heat and fresh herbs is addictive. Outdoor seating on the City Walk square is the best table in the house when weather permits.

Mythos is the Greek restaurant Dubai has been waiting for — light, modern, and deeply rooted in the real flavours of the Aegean rather than the tourists-abroad version. The dining room evokes a contemporary Greek island taverna, white and bright with a terrace that catches the City Walk square at its best. The spanakopita (AED 62) has proper flakiness and filling; the loukoumades (honey doughnut holes with pistachios, AED 52) are dangerously good. The main event is the lamb shoulder slow-cooked in tomato and herbs (AED 245 for two), which needs to be pre-ordered but is wholly worth the effort. The all-day dining format makes Mythos one of City Walk's most flexible options for any occasion.

La Serre brings an authentic taste of Paris to City Walk C2, combining a working boulangerie with a proper French bistro. The morning crowd comes for the bread — their sourdough (AED 28) and croissants (AED 22) are seriously good, made fresh daily with imported French butter. At lunch and dinner, the bistro menu delivers comfort with precision: the steak frites (AED 165) with its proper béarnaise sauce is the benchmark for the dish in Dubai. Miyabi Sushi has a 4.6-star average across nearly 2,000 reviews, which is unusual for a City Walk restaurant — the audience here tends to be discerning. The omakase experience (AED 395 per person) is thoughtfully priced for its quality; the 12-piece nigiri selection showcases excellent sourcing and knife skills. For more casual dining, the maki selection is broad and reasonably priced at AED 55–95 per roll. It's comfortably the best sushi within walking distance of the City Walk fountain area.
Getting to City Walk
City Walk is one of Dubai's most accessible dining destinations. Uber and taxis drop off directly in the complex; paid parking is available on-site (first two hours usually validated with restaurant receipts). The nearest metro is Business Bay on the Red Line, a 10–15 minute taxi from there. City Walk operates year-round but is at its best from October through April when the outdoor areas are genuinely comfortable.
